Allen Pate

Allen was born in 1794.¹ Allen's father was Benjamin Allen Pate and his mother was Judith Pate. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Pate and Mary Allen; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Pate and Mary (Polly). He had a brother and three sisters, named Paten, Polly, Mildred and Nancy. He was the second oldest of the five children.
