David Mar

David was born about 1157 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ David's father was Morgund mac Gylocher 2nd Earl of Mar and his mother was Countess of Mar Agnes. His paternal grandparents were Earl Gillocher of Mar and <Unknown>. He had six brothers and a sister, named Malcolm, James, Duncan, Donald, John, Gilchrist and Alestra.
