Oliver Dewey 
Oliver was born on September 26th, 1782 in Hebron, CT or Hanover, NH.1 Oliver's father was William Dewey and his mother was Rebecca Carrier. His paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Anna Phelps. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named Simeon, William, David, Asa, Israel, Henry, Elias, Andrew, Child, Anna, Lydia, Parthenia and Eunice. He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 88 on August 3rd, 1871 in Canton, IL age 89.1 -
