Asa Dewey 
Asa was born on February 18th, 1775 in Hebron, CT.1 Asa's father was William Dewey and his mother was Rebecca Carrier. His paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Anna Phelps. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named Simeon, William, David, Israel, Henry, Oliver, Elias, Andrew, Child, Anna, Lydia, Parthenia and Eunice. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 75 on March 12th, 1850 in East Bethel, VT age 75.1 -
