Martha Conant was born on December 28th, 1818 in Hanover, Graft., NH.1 Martha Conant's father was Oliver Dewey and her mother was Jemima Wright. Her paternal grandparents were William Dewey and Rebecca Carrier; her maternal grandparents were Dea. Nathaniel Wright and Nancy Page. She had four brothers and a sister, named Edwin Page, Joel Wright, Roswell William, Charles Carroll and Mary Wright. She was the third oldest of the six children.1 -
