Eliza Dewey 
Eliza was born on November 1st, 1812 in Hanover, Graft., NH.1 Eliza's father was Simeon Dewey and her mother was Betsey Bigelow Knight. Her paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Elizabeth Turner; her maternal grandparents were William Knight and Susanna Bigelow. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Lorenzo Low, Francis Asbury, Charles Henry, Simeon J., Eliza, Statia and Sophia Statia. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Charles, Jesse Nelson, Joseph Bradley, John R., Lucinda, Lovina Emoretta, Lydia L. and Mary J. She died at the age of 35 on January 16th, 1848 in Tecumseh, MICH.1 -
