Philip Porter Cadwell

Philip Porter was born on January 25th, 1833 in Conneautville, Crawford, PA.¹ Philip Porter's father was George Cadwell and his mother was Sally Maria Porter. His paternal grandparents were Justus Cadwell and Sarah Pettibone; his maternal grandparents were Phillip Porter and Nancy Unknown. He had six brothers and five sisters, named George Willis, Edwin Rufus, Sylvanus Clark, John Wesley, Edward Justus, Orin Oliver, Nancy R., Mary Salina, Maria Emily, Ellen Florence and Ruth May. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.¹
