John P. Cadwell 
John P. was born on January 6th, 1807 in Farmington, Hartford, CT.1 John P.'s father was Justus Cadwell and his mother was Sarah Pettibone. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Cadwell and Joanna Marshall; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Pettibone and Sarah Brown. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George, Edward, Joanna and Lucy. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died due to Chronic Bronchitis with Asthma (Source: H1 p. 63) at the age of 73 on March 31st, 1880 in Knox County, IL. He was buried in Cadwell Cemetery, Knox Co., IL.1 1 -
