Wesley Burks 
Wesley was born on May 27th, 1806 in Cumberland County, KY.1 Wesley's father was Isham Burks and his mother was Elizabeth Rowland. His paternal grandparents were John Peartree Burks and Sarah Isham ?. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Robert Rowland, Isham, John, William, James Pane, Sally, Betsy, Nancy and Mahala. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.1 -
