Isham was born in 1759 in Botetourt County, VA.1 Isham's father was John Peartree Burks and his mother was Sarah Isham ?. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Burks and Mary Davis. He had two brothers named John Peartree and Samuel. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 80 on August 21st, 1839 in Boone County, MO.1 -
