Mary Barnes

Mary was born on January 28th, 1815 in , Herkimer,NY.¹   Mary's father was Silas Barnes and her mother was Alice Bateman. She had three brothers and a sister, named Horacio Nelson, Erastus Yates, William S and Alice.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Chauncey, Silas, Philena, Susannah and Sarah (Sally).  She died at the age of 69 on December 3rd, 1884 in Battleground,Tippecanoe,Ind.¹
