19 July 1806, probated July 1806. Being in a low state of body, I give to my wife MARTHA LEMOND, during her widowhood, my mare, the use of my dwelling house, all household and kitchen furniture, and maintenance from my estate. I give her completely half of my hogs, the property she owned at the time of our marriage, and two sheep.
I give to my eldest daughter ELIZABETH LEMOND a mare with saddle and bridle, a cow, and a feather bed and furniture; to my oldest son JOHN LEMOND a horse with saddle and bridle, my rifle gun and accouterments, a cow, my big coat, part of my wearing apparel, and a gang of hogs he claims as his own; to my second eldest son WILLIAM THOMAS LEMOND a horse with saddle and bridle, and a gang of hogs he claims; to my youngest son ROBERT my mare with saddle and bridle and a gang of hogs he claims as his own; and to my youngest daughter ELEANOR a horse worth $60 with saddle and bridle, a feather bed and furniture, a cow, and all the clothes that belonged to her mother.
It is my will that negro Aaron be hired out for a term of four years and the money arising is to be divided equally among my wife and children, and at the end of that time he is to be sold and his price divided in the same way. A sufficient part of my estate is to be sold to pay my debts, but the remainder is to be kept together for the support of my family until the youngest daughter comes of age and then is to be sold and divided as above. My land is to be equally divided among my three sons and the division is to be made so that my son Robert's share contains my house and outbuildings.
