Donald III Bane was born about 1033.1 Donald III Bane's father was Duncan I "The Gracious" Koenig von Schottland and his mother was Aelflaed (Sybil) von Northumbria. His paternal grandparents were Crinan Abbot von Dunkeld and Bethoc (Beatrix) Prinzessin von Schottland. He had three brothers named Malcolm III "Canmore" Koenig, Maelmuir and Margaret. He had three half-brothers named Donald III " Bane " Koenig, Melmare (Melkofr) Earl and Duncan Earl. He died in 1099 in Rescobie, Forfarshire.1 -
