Donald III " Bane " Koenig was born about 1034 in Of, Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.1 Donald III " Bane " Koenig's father was Duncan and his mother was Sybil. His paternal grandparents were Crinan and Bethoc. He had a brother named Malcolm III "Canmore" Koenig. He was the younger of the two children. He died after 1097 in Rescobie, Angusshire, Scotland.1
