Bertha von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld

Bertha was born in 1818. Bertha's father was Karl von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and her mother was Sofie von Bentheim-Steinfort. Her paternal grandparents were Adolf von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Luise von Sachsen-Meiningen. She had four brothers and a sister, named Viktor, Aexander, Alexis, Wilhelm and Emilie. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 70 in 1888.
