Georgios Laskaris

Georgios was born about 1171 in Of Nicaea, Bursa, Trky.¹   Georgios' father was Manolis Laskaris and his mother was Ioanna Karatzaina (Phok. He had six brothers named Manolis, Konstantinos, Theodoros I Emperor vom Byzantinischen, Alexios, Isaak and Duke Laskaris.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died in 1236.¹
