Alexios Laskaris

Alexios was born about 1178 in Of Nicaea, Bursa, Trky.¹   Alexios' father was Manolis Laskaris and his mother was Ioanna Karatzaina (Phok. He had six brothers named Manolis, Georgios, Konstantinos, Theodoros I Emperor vom Byzantinischen, Isaak and Duke Laskaris.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died after 1224.¹
