Eugenia Jones was born on December 10th, 1847 in Gold Hill, AL.1 Eugenia Jones' father was John Knight and her mother was Brunetta Middlebrooks. Her paternal grandparents were John Knight and Mary Carrington; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Middlebrooks and Anna Selman. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named John C. Thomas, William Meakins, James Madison, Selman Carrington, Joseph Jefferson, Columbus Albinus, Jasper Stephens, Mary Emeline, Bethany Adaline, Sabina Ann, Sarah Thomas, Georgiana, Martha Catherine and Frances Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 45 on October 2nd, 1893 in Gold Hill, AL.1 -
