Jane M. Fortson 
Jane M. was born on June 10th, 1819 in Elbert County, GA.1 Jane M.'s father was Jesse Fortson and her mother was Mary Ballinger White. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Fortson and Rachel Winn; her maternal grandparents were Daniel White and Mary Ballinger. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Jesse Marion, Thomas Daniel, Martha M., Elizabeth, Mary B. and Alemeda Harriett. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 70 on July 31st, 1889.1 -
