He/she had three brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Thomas, Richard F., Benjamin G., Sarah, Maud, Rachel W., Elizabeth A., Amanda N. M. and Mahala. He/she was the oldest of the ten children. He/she had two half-brothers named James and John.1 -
