Ada Florence was born on June 22nd, 1884. Ada Florence's father was Abraham P. Yost and her mother was Saphronia J. Sargent. Her maternal grandparents were Sylvester Sargent and Sarah Jane Westfall. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named William Henry, Charles Edward, Bertram, Solomon Newton, Elizabeth Ellen, Martha Jane, Melinda Ann, Margaret M., Lucy Lucinda, Anna Clara and Margaret Ann. She is the second youngest of the twelve children.-
