Mary Louise was born on April 20th, 1885 in Phillips, Franklin, Maine. Mary Louise's father was Jr. Whittemore Kendall Nathaniel and her mother was Jane Wing Staples. Her paternal grandfather was Nathaniel Kendall Whittemore and her paternal grandmother is Abigail Saunders Riant. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Ira P., Carl H., Blyn A., Esma M., Birdena M. and Marguerite. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died after 1920.-
