Philander Hall Welch 
Philander Hall was born on October 22nd, 1833 in Groton, Caledonia County, Vermont. Philander Hall's father was Nehemiah Welch and his mother was Dolly Page. His maternal grandparents were Moses Page and Dorothy (Dolly) Bennett. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Solomon, Enoch, Nehemiah, Robb T. G., Dolly Annis, Louisa C., Elizabeth Ann, Elizabeth Ann and Martha Britann. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 on April 5th, 1898 in Minonk, Woodford County, Illinois.-
