Fred was born on September 28th, 1858 in Salisbury, New Hampshire.. Fred's father was Nathan Tucker and his mother was Adaline Couch. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Tucker and * Sarah. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Frank, Nettie R., Freeman, Jennie M., Clara, Emma M. and Nettie R.. He was the third oldest of the eight children.
