Cora Mercy was born on August 30th, 1865 in Waldoboro, Maine. Cora Mercy's father was Dan S. Tucker and her mother was Mercy Sears Howes. Her paternal grandparents were Ezra Tucker and Judith Burbank. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Frank M., Fred M., Walter, Susan R., Hattie H., Nellie Pope, Clara M. and Addie French. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She had two half-sisters named Sarah and Lizzie. She died at the age of 20 on July 2nd, 1886 in N. Chesterville, Maine.-
