Addie French was born on September 15th, 1867 in New Sharon, Maine. Addie French's father was Dan S. Tucker and her mother was Mercy Sears Howes. Her paternal grandparents were Ezra Tucker and Judith Burbank. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Frank M., Fred M., Walter, Susan R., Hattie H., Nellie Pope, Clara M. and Cora Mercy. She is the youngest of the nine children. She had two half-sisters named Sarah and Lizzie.-
