Jane Bowron was born on December 24th, 1838 in Collins, Erie County N.Y.. Jane Bowron's father was William Bowron Southwick and her mother was Maria Rideout. Her paternal grandparents were Jr. Southwick George and Jane Bowron. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry Green, Ezra Alvin, Mary Lucinda, Clarinda Hibbard, Esther Fidelia, Emily Miranda and Julia Francelia.
