Emily Miranda was born on September 3rd, 1853. Emily Miranda's father was William Bowron Southwick and her mother was Maria Rideout. Her paternal grandparents were Jr. Southwick George and Jane Bowron. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry Green, Ezra Alvin, Jane Bowron, Mary Lucinda, Clarinda Hibbard, Esther Fidelia and Julia Francelia. She is the second youngest of the eight children.-
