George Washington Sergent 
George Washington was born on February 28th, 1926 in Wolf Point, Roosevelt County, Montana. George Washington's father was Bennie H Sergent and his mother was Delilah Margaret Bailey. His paternal grandparents were George Sergent and Abbie E Sergent; his maternal grandparents were George Edward Bailey and Sarah M. Schoolir. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Albert Leroy, Alfred James, Living, Living, Florence Jane, Ethel Margaret, Living and Living. He had a half-brother named Living. He died at the age of 68 on March 7th, 1994 in Great Falls, Cascade County, Montana. He was buried in Cremated and ashes spread IAW wishes..General Notes
Passed away at 2045 on 7 March 1994 in Columbus Hospital after a yearlong battle with Esophageal cancer. Death certificate is on file in Great Falls, Cascade County, Montana in local file # 153 on 11 Mar 1994. The attending physician was Dr. Thomas A. Warr.
He served in the Army from June 1944 until November 1947. He was in the 3rd Army, 71st Barrery "B", 564th Field Artillery where he operated a 155 howitzer in France, Holland, Czechoslovokia, Austria, and Germany and was involved with the liberation of six concentration camps.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a Past Post Commander of Post # 10474.
