Almon Walter Scribner 
Almon Walter was born on February 23rd, 1928 in Cornish, York County, Maine. Almon Walter's father was Percy W. Scribner and his mother was Adelaide May Sargent. His maternal grandparents are Walter B. Sargent and Alice M. Edgecomb. He had a brother and two sisters, named Percy G., Mary Alice and Viola Jane. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 24 on May 19th, 1952 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine.General Notes
Almon died from severe burns suffered when a gasoline motor, on which hewas working, exploded.
Glena's second marriage was to Raymond E. Quinn, Sr., of Portland, 17 December 1953 (MARRIAGE INDEX, Maine Marriages, 1892-1996, Maine State Archives).
