Rebecca B. was born on September 25th, 1822 in Derry, New Hampshire. Rebecca B.'s father was David Sargent and her mother was Rebecca Shute. Her paternal grandfather was Challis Sargent and her paternal grandmother is Jane Buswell. She had two brothers and two sisters, named George R. Nesmith, John Newton, Eliza Jane and Harriet Hopkins. She was the oldest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and six half-sisters, named George, William, John, Sarah Moore, Harriet, Jane, Eliza Jane, Mary and Rebecca. She died at the age of 76 on September 11th, 1899 in Rutland, Massachusetts.-
