James Monroe Sargent 
James Monroe was born on January 11th, 1857 in Potton, Brome, Quebec, Canada. James Monroe's father was Simon Sargent and his mother was Eunice A. Esty. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Sargent and Susan Aiken. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Daniel Madison, Franklin Simon, Oscar Eugene, Chauncy Norris, Ashley Elwood, Jesse Mark, Clarence G, Cora A. and Abbie E.. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 33 on August 27th, 1890 in Potton, Brome, Quebec, Canada.-
