James E. Sargent

James E. was born on January 13th, 1813 in Bridgewater, Vermont. James E.'s father was John Sargent and his mother was Rebecca Eaton. His paternal grandparents were Elias Sargent and Sarah Sumbry. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Sylvester, Alfred, Joseph C., George W., Emily H., Angeline and Lydia O.. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 23 in 1836.
