William Alexander Colby 
William Alexander was born on February 17th, 1825 in Lisbon, Maine. William Alexander's father was Jonathan Colby and his mother was Betsey Alexander. His maternal grandparents were Enoch Alexander and Mariam Colby. He had two brothers and a sister, named Hezekiah W., Josiah E. and Sarah Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the four children. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Samuel Alexander, Simeon, Enoch A., Sewell A., Philip J., Elvira, Sarah A., Miriam Emeline, Lucy Jane and Charlotte F.. He died at the age of 79 on March 26th, 1904 in WEBSTER, Maine.-
