Malcolm Edward was born on April 30th, 1835 in Jay, Essex County, New York. Malcolm Edward's father is Blanchard Colby and his mother is Lydia Mace. His paternal grandparents are Reuben Colby and Judith Webster Corliss. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James, Blanchard, Judathon, John Clark, Eliza, Annette, Mary, Martha and Emma Jane. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 75 on April 10th, 1911 in Ogdens, St Lawrence County, New York.-
