Lewis R. Colby 
Lewis R. was born on August 30th, 1841 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Lewis R.'s father was Thomas B. Colby and his mother was Mary B. Kelley. His paternal grandfather was Samuel Colby and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Partridge. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Francis O., Henry, Alfred E., Sarah E. B. and Mary E.. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry Sherburn, Alred E. and Sarah E.B.. He died at the age of 21 in 1862 in Libbey Prison, Richmond, Richmond County, Virginia.General Notes
