Hannah W. was born on June 16th, 1819 in Weare, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Hannah W.'s father was Simon Perkins Colby and her mother is Betsey Wood. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Colby and Lucy Perkins. She had a brother and five sisters, named Hepsey Wood, Hannah W., Julia Perkins, Eliza Jane, Lucy Ann and Susan M.. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers named Franklin Pierce and Harvey G.. She died at the age of 20 on May 5th, 1840 in Weare, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.-
