George S. Colby 
George S. was born on December 16th, 1837 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. George S.'s father was Sargent Colby and his mother was Ruth Ann Colby. His paternal grandfather was Samuel Colby and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Partridge. He had nine brothers and seven sisters, named Willard M., Matthew H., Horace S., John S., George B., Caleb S., Franklin Pierce, Orren E., Edward H., Melinda A., Emeline B., Sarah E., Lucretia P., Mary J., Susan M. and Louisa M.. He was the eighth youngest of the seventeen children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Henry S. and Mary J.. He died at the age of 51 on August 1st, 1889.-
