Eddy D. was born on May 31st, 1864 in Poss Thornton, New Hampshire. Eddy D.'s father was John Colby and his mother was Martha Page. His paternal grandfather was John W Colby and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Tuck. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John E., Perley L., Ella Jane and Cora L.. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 50 on June 30th, 1914 in Thornton, New Hampshire.-
