Judith Sargent 
Judith was born on March 27th, 1716 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. Judith's father was Jacob Sargent and her mother was Judith Harvey. Her paternal grandparents were William Sargent and Mary Colby; her maternal grandmother was Sarah Barnes. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Winthrop, Jacob, Theophilus, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Dorothy and Tabiatha. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died about 1756 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.-
