His paternal grandparents were Seymour (Semore) York and Meriam Beck; his maternal grandparents were William Donaldson and Unknown. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John L. and Margaret. He died at the age of 77 on November 17th, 1916. He was buried in Persimmon Dist, Rabun co, GA.-
