Edith of Wessex 
Edith of was born in 1020 in England. Edith of's father was Godwin Wulfnothson and her mother was Gytha Thorgilsdottir. Her paternal grandfather was Wulfnoth Cild; her maternal grandfather was Thorgils Styrbjornsson. She had eleven brothers and three sisters, named Swein or, Harold, Herbert, Morcar, Waltheow, Wulfnoth, Edwin, Leofwine, Gwrth or, Alfgar, Tostig, Gunhilda, Gytha and Elgiva. She died at the age of 55 in 1075.General Notes
After Edward's death, Edith commissioned a book, "The Life of King Edward (Vitae Aedwardi), which helped to establish Edward's reputation as a saintly figure.
