Philip Van Guelders 
Philip was born about 1289 in Zutphen, Glederland, Netherlands. Philip's father was Rainald I of Guelders and his mother was Marguerite De Dampierre. His maternal grandparents were Willem Van Vlaanderen and Alix Van Clermont. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Guido, Reinoud II "the Black", Margaret, Philippa and Isabel. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
