Ranulph was born in 1100. Ranulph's father was Ranulph Meschienes and his mother was Lucy Taillebois. His paternal grandfather was Ranulph Meschienes II and his paternal grandmother is Maud d'Avranches; his maternal grandfather was Ives Taillebois and his maternal grandmother is Lucy Mercia. He had a brother named William. He had a half-sister named Alice Adeliza. He died at the age of 53 in 1153.-
