His paternal grandparents were Lord of Warkworth John FitzRobert Clavering and Ada Balliol; his maternal grandfather is Roger Merlay II and his maternal grandmother was Margery Umfreville. He had a brother named John Fitzroger. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 63 on April 29th, 1310 in England.-
