Alice was born about 1060. Alice's father was Robert de Tosny. Her paternal grandparents are Roger de Tosny and Estefania Borrel. She is an only child.
They had a son and four daughters, named Hugh, Maud, Jane, Mary and Gunnor.

Hugh was born in 1102 in Normandy,France/Belvoir Castle,Leicestershire,England and his baptism took place in Framlingham,Suffolk,England. He died before March 9th, 1177 in Palestine. He was buried in 1177 in Thetford Abbey,Norfolk,England.
