Mary was born in 1451 in Cobham,Kent,England. Mary's father was 6th Baron Cobham Edward Brooke and her mother is Elizabeth Touchet. Her paternal grandparents were Sir Knight, Baron Cobham Thomas Brooke and Baroness Cobham Joan Braybrook; her maternal grandfather was 5th Lord Audley, Sir Knight James Touchet and her maternal grandmother is Eleanor Holland. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Elizabeth. She is the youngest of the three children.-
