Isabel was born in Aragon,Spain.  Isabel's father was King James (The Conqueror) Aragon I and her mother was Yolanda (Jolan) Hungary.  Her paternal grandparents are King of Aragon Pedro (The Catholic King) *Aragon II and Maria *Montpellier; her maternal grandparents were King of Hungary Andras(Andrew) Hungary II and Yolanda Courtenay. She had a brother and a sister, named The Great and Violante(Yolanda). She had a half-sister named Alphonso.  She died  due to She died as a result of a fall from a horse on her return from the Tunisian Crusade. in Clermont,Auvergne,France.  She was buried in St. Denis,Seine,France.


Isabel's family with Phillip (The Bold) *Capet III

‌Isabel and The Bold were married in a religious ceremony on May 28th, 1262 in Clermont-Ferrand,Puy-de-Dome,France.  They had four sons and a daughter, named Louis of France, The Fair, Charles, Robert of France and Blanche of France.
