Eleanor was born in 1122 in Chateau De Belin,Aquitaine,Giorond,France.  Eleanor's father was William Poitou VIII and her mother was Eleanor *de Chatellerult.  Her paternal grandparents were William Poitou VII and Maud Phillipa Toulouse; her maternal grandparents were Aimery *de Chatellerult I and Dangereuse de l'Isle Bouchard.  She was an only child.  She died  due to old age (eight+years old in the Middle Ages) at the age of 82 on March 31st, 1204 in Fontevrault Abbey,Fontevrault,Anjou,France.  She was buried on April 1st, 1204 in Fontevrault Abbey,Fontevrault,Anjou,France.


Eleanor's first family with Louis *Capet VII

‌Eleanor and Louis were married in a religious ceremony on July 22nd, 1137 in Bordeaux Cathedral,France.  They had three daughters named Alix, Marie and Agnes.


Eleanor's second family with Duke d' Anjou, King of England Henry Plantagenet II

‌Eleanor and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on May 18th, 1152 in Bordeaux,Gironde,France.  They had five sons and three daughters, named William, The Lion Hearted, Geoffrey, John, Henry, Matilda, Eleanor and Joan.
