William Hungerford

William was born about 1417 in of Farley, Hungerford, Somersetshire, England. William's father was Walter Hungerford and his mother was Katherine Peverell. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hungerford and Joan Hussey; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Peverell and Margaret Courtenay. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Walter, Edmund, Robert, Elizabeth, Joan and Margaret (Mary). He is the youngest of the eight children.
